Czech coloratura soprano Eva Benett studied classical singing at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts, under the direction of Marta Beňačková. In the study she completed a residency at the Salzburg Mozarteum with prof. Marta Sharp. She also studied at the Conservatorio di Verona in Italy with Cristina Miatello, where she studied interpretation of Italian and French baroque music. She has participated in master classes under the direction of Gerard Lesne, Mark Štryncl, Václav Luks, Joel Frederiksen and Kateřina Kněžíková a Markéta Cukrová.
She graduated at Janacek Academy with the role of Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro (W. A. Mozart). For the Chamber Opera Prague she sang the role of Papagena, First Lady and Pamina from the opera The Magic Flute (W. A. Mozart) and the role of Sleep fairies from the opera Hansel and Gretel (Humperdinck E.), which successfully carried out on a regular tour of Germany and Switzerland until now.
She focuses mainly on concert activities in the Czech Republic and abroad. She performs solo recitals with a lute accompaniment (music 17 to 18 cent.) and harp (music of 19th-20th century.) As a soloist, she regularly collaborates with Musica Florea, Hofmusici or Czech virtuosi. Further, for example, she worked with Košice (SK) and Pardubice Philharmonic. In 2012 she recorded for the record company NAVONA RECORDS with the Olomouc Philharmonic led by Peter Vronsky album with music by Sergio Cervettiho NASCA. In 2016, she recorded an album for Braunensis Art songs by Jakub Jan Ryba. Among her domains are mainly the coloratura oratorios, cantatas and operas of W.A. Mozart and G. Rossini as well as songs across the centuries. She is also associated as an a sought-after interpreter for unusual projects such as film music.
